MISSION STATEMENT OF PI KAPPA PHI

We will lead.

The expression of shared values and ideals
as contained in the Ritual of Initiation,
Supreme Law and fraternity policy;

The pursuit of brotherhood through
scholarship, leadership, service
and social experiences;

The achievement of personal excellence
in each member and
collective excellence in our fraternity;

A lifelong brotherhood of its members

-------------------------------

MEN OF CLASS

Pi Kapp men strive to be above the average in serving their community, being an active college student, taking responsibility for work they undertake, and succeeding in all their endeavors.  As a constant reminder to be this great man, Pi Kapps around the country adopted the acronym "C.L.A.S.S." C.L.A.S.S. stands for character, leadership, academics, sportsmanship, and service.

We are men of character, able to excell socially and do what is morally right in all situations.  We are men of leadership, whether by action or example, taking ownership and helping propel our communities to the next level.  We are men of academia, striving in all our curricular endeavors and constantly working to enlighten ourselves.  We are men of sportsmanship, pushing our bodies to the limit and and maintaining a gentlemanly demeanor while doing so.  We are men of service, helping those who are not as fortunate and working to educate people on social negligence.

These are the precepts by which we, the men of Pi Kappa Phi, live our lives.  We will never be perfect, yet we will always strive to be.

 A letter from the President

Epsilon Omega Chapter

--------------

We're a tight knit group of guys that is focused on building leaders of men.

What does this mean?  This past year we went from a below average GPA to the 2nd overall GPA out of all 22 fraternities on campus.  We've implemented an effective study hall program that insures our members and associate members the time needed to study for their courses and finish  any other homework they may have.  We plan on grabbing first place this year.  You've come to college for an education first, after all.

We're dedicated to our philanthropy that is ONLY offered to Pi Kappa Phi brothers, PUSH America.  With various fundraisers throughout the semester and raising awareness we provide associate members and members the opportunity to better themselves and the community.

We participate in every intramural sport offered - from Flag Football to Ping-Pong.  We generally play two teams per sport, depending on the amount of people that want to participate in them.

We participate in Homecoming and this year (Fall 2009) we're going to be paired up with WSO (Women's Service Organization).

We tailgate at every home game, we get together for the away games, and we have a few roadtrips each semester.  We also have an extensive social calendar.

As you can see, we offer several opportunities for our Associate Members and Members to succeed and have a great college experience.  We want our fraternity to be an environment where you know there will never be any hazing, Pi Kappa Phi is known as the Non-Hazing fraternity (www.pikapp.org -> Downloads -> downloads -> risk management), you will succeed Academically, you will be an asset to your community through community service (http://www.pikapp.org/aboutus/pushamerica.cfm), and you will have a great time socially.

In my opinion and I'm sure the opinion of the rest of our members, Pi Kappa Phi offers everything and wraps it up in the best packaging.
