We're a tight knit group of guys that is focused on building leaders of men.
What does this mean? This past year we went from a below average GPA to the 2nd overall GPA out of all 22 fraternities on campus. We've implemented an effective study hall program that insures our members and associate members the time needed to study for their courses and finish any other homework they may have. We plan on grabbing first place this year. You've come to college for an education first, after all.
We're dedicated to our philanthropy that is ONLY offered to Pi Kappa Phi brothers, PUSH America. With various fundraisers throughout the semester and raising awareness we provide associate members and members the opportunity to better themselves and the community.
We participate in every intramural sport offered - from Flag Football to Ping-Pong. We generally play two teams per sport, depending on the amount of people that want to participate in them.
We participate in Homecoming and this year (Fall 2009) we're going to be paired up with WSO (Women's Service Organization).
We tailgate at every home game, we get together for the away games, and we have a few roadtrips each semester. We also have an extensive social calendar.
As you can see, we offer several opportunities for our Associate Members and Members to succeed and have a great college experience. We want our fraternity to be an environment where you know there will never be any hazing, Pi Kappa Phi is known as the Non-Hazing fraternity (www.pikapp.org -> Downloads -> downloads -> risk management), you will succeed Academically, you will be an asset to your community through community service (http://www.pikapp.org/aboutus/pushamerica.cfm), and you will have a great time socially.
In my opinion and I'm sure the opinion of the rest of our members, Pi Kappa Phi offers everything and wraps it up in the best packaging.
